Journey
I started my career as a Web Developer at Pear IT Solutions. After working as a Front End Developer for a while, I decided to progress in this field when the company entered the gaming industry. Within the company, I received mentorship from experienced individuals in Game Design from abroad. Throughout the process, I worked on various aspects such as Level Design, Balance, Gameplay Design, and Monetization, and I created many prototypes, especially in the Tower Defense genre.
As my career continued, I provided freelance services to several projects from abroad. Over time, as publishing companies started entering the Turkish market, many new game studios emerged, and I made the decision to focus on these studios. My Hyper-Casual career began with OXO Games. During this period, I learned the intricacies of developing Hyper-Casual games. Although the Hyper-Casual genre laid the foundations for the gaming industry in Turkey and introduced many people to the world of game development, I found this genre not very fulfilling and started exploring new opportunities.
Thanks to my industry connections and intriguing game ideas, I met the Yin Yang Games team. As part of the early establishment, I was involved in managing the team’s recruitment process, and later on, I oversaw the process of creating the right working environment within Yin Yang Games. This startup game company aimed to produce future-oriented projects. For a while, we developed Hyper-Casual games to secure financial support. However, as time passed, I decided to pursue my long-held ambition, the Web 3.0 GameFi project called Reincarnation. Subsequently, the company aligned all its objectives with this project and ceased Hyper-Casual production. The company secured a total investment of $2 million from various sources, enabling us to expand the team and fully focus on this project.

While the Reincarnation process was ongoing, a gamification request came from Firebyte Games in Romania. They wanted their existing mobile games to be transformed into Web 3.0 projects. I worked on this project for 3 months, focusing on the game’s revenue methods, tokenomics reports, and gamification aspects. The existing game was restructured based on Web 3.0 principles under my guidance. Later, this project also received a $5 million investment. However, since Reincarnation, the project I created, continued in parallel, I decided to complete my tasks at Firebyte and fully concentrate on Yin Yang Games.

Originally conceived as a Web 3.0 project, Reincarnation was eventually transformed into a regular game due to adverse impact on the Blockchain world. After spending 1 year, overseeing a team of 22 people, the project was successfully completed, and preparations for its release began.
My journey continued in this manner. Throughout the process, I ensured that the project emerged in the best possible way by constantly exchanging ideas with both development and art team leaders. Particularly at Yin Yang, I gained experience in company management and honed my skills in game design to the maximum level. Not only confined to the game itself, I also learned about different technologies, such as Blockchain, that could benefit the game’s content and thoroughly enjoyed integrating them with the design.
